• Duping, botting, hacking (any attempt to harm the server directly or indirectly), packeting or any use of a 3rd party program (this includes macros) is NOT ALLOWED.
1st offense: Permanent ban

• Do not spam skills in town.
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: 30 minutes jail time
3rd offense or higher: 1 hour jail time

• Do not summon monsters with dead-branches, Hocus-Pocus spell, Marine Sphere, Bio Canibalize or any other summoning spells/items in towns or in novice areas (fields adjacent to towns, dungeons for low levels like Payon, sewer, near Kafra, etc). High level monsters that are spawned in those novice areas will be killed by a GM immediately.

3rd offense or higher: 1 day temporary ban

• Do not advertise other RO servers.

• Name changes will not be done unless the current player name is offensive.

• Gender change will never be given out. Ever.

• Enter the PvP arena at your own risk. If you are upset by people cursing you for killing them, or the other way around, stay out. [Example: "You noob, gtfo."] As the name implies, Player vs. Player (PvP), is all about killing and getting killed so if you want to chat…go to a town or the Devilish Pub. Reporting to a GM about getting killed over and over will not result in any action.

• Please keep chats on the sidewalks of Prontera and not in the streets.

• If you see anyone violate the rule/s, report the person in question to a GM; or take a screenshot(s) and post on forum. However, posting screenshots are not applicable for KS and looting reports.

• You should not share your account information with others; you, as the account owner, are entirely responsible for the actions of the characters within your account.


Player Relations

• This is the most important rule between players: Respect All Players. Devilish should be a fun experience for all our members. Players who try to ruin the gaming experience for others are not welcome in Devilish. Please try to keep language clean and try to have a positive attitude. Players are expected to follow all rules and should assume that violation of any rules will result in a stricter punishment than noted. GMs reserve the right to deny and/or remove membership to anyone who cannot show respect to others.

• No harassment, racism or discrimination is allowed anywhere on the server.

4th offense or higher: Account ban

• Do not kill steal.
* This refers to attacking, provoking, or healing monsters that are actively walking to or targeting another player. The only exception to this is if the player is in your party or agrees for you to attack/help them kill.
A. MVPs are free for all. You are allowed to attack with whomever is currently hitting it but you are NOT allowed to heal or buff the MVP.
B. Mini bosses are not free for all. So any attempt to kill them while someone is already hitting them is considered a kill steal.
C. Note to classes that hide: Upon hiding/cloaking, you are willingly giving up your mob to others. However if another player continuously follows you just to "steal" your mob, it is an offense.

2nd offense: 10 minutes jail time
3rd offense or higher: 30 minutes jail time

• Do not steal others' loot/s.
*You can use @autoloot [droprate] to automatically pick up loot that drops at the given rate (ie. 10.5 for 10.5% drop rate or lower), and just throw out the things you don't need.
1st offense and higher: Retrieval of the looted item and possibly getting jailed, depending on the GM's discretion. However, continued offense may result in a ban.

• Do not scam people.
1st offense: 1 hour jail time
2nd offense: 1 day temporary ban
3rd offense: Account ban

*Punishments also depend on the severity of the situation. Scamming people's accounts (i.e. impersonating a GM and asking for players' account info) will automatically be permanent ban.

• Do not beg repeatedly for items; tanks; heal; buffs; etc. Also, continuous trade request will not be tolerated.
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: 10 minutes jail time
3rd offense or higher: 30 minutes jail time

• Do not impersonate a Game Master (i.e. by adding GM in your character name or guild nick).
1st offense: Warning, and forced name change
2nd offense: 1 day temporary ban
3rd offense or higher: Account ban

• Don't ever fake GM names and threaten other players with ban or jail. You'll get permanently banned yourself.


Game Master Relations

• Always respect all GMs.

• GMs reserve the right deal with players based on their manner.

• GMs will never ask for your account information (i.e. username and password) and items.

• GMs are not allowed to reimburse lost items, pets or zeny.

• GMs are not allowed to change players' jobs. The only exception is if you picked the wrong job and are still job level 1.

• Do not ask GMs for zeny, items or levels. They are not allowed to give away anything, with the exception of events.

• Do not spam/flood the GMs, especially when they're broadcasting or hosting an event.

• Do not ask to be a GM, ever, or otherwise harass a GM.

• Report GM abuse or harassment to the administrators, but remember to provide a valid proof/evidence when doing so.

• The GM Team reserves the right to change the rules at any time. These rules/guidelines are not set in stone.

• Game Masters reserve the right to deal out punishments for violation of rules, ranging from jailing to a permanent ban.

• The GM Team exists to deal with most situations, allowing the server to run fairly self-sufficiently. A hierarchy exists among the GM team as well, so GMs can be approached from bottom-top. This means, consulting an administrator of Devilish should be last resort. In addition, the decision(s) of an administrator is final.

With the implementation of the "Market Area”, the following rule will now be enforced:

Vending in Prontera is now forbidden. It is only allowed at the Market Area. To get there, use the warp NPC at Prontera located near the right pillar (where the Tool shop used to be). Anyone caught vending in Prontera will be kicked and/or jailed without further warning.

Chats go on the sidewalks now.
Also, don't block the Market place NPC with chats.
