The administration which includes developers and game masters spend a lot of time on this server to make it more enjoyable for you. We strive to keep the server and game quality as high as possible, but we all know it's hard to keep a dedicated server paid for after months and months. Remember we are completely non-profit, so, donations are extremely appreciated and needed in order to keep the server alive. Furthermore, when you donate, we will reward you with various gifts (see rewards below) as a token of our gratitude!
As of October 24th, 2006, some GMs can now process donation items and every thing is much faster now! If you want to donate, follow one of these methods: *Payments can be made via Paypal, credit card, cash, money order, cashiers check or Western Union. Send paypal donations to: fritz@hax-studios.net or just http://hax-studios.net -> "Make a donation" button. When filling out the second page of the form, please specify: • Your character name • What items/services you want Send cash/money order/Western Union donations to: Zak Farrington [address redacted] [address redacted] United States Note: We always prefer money orders over cash if you must donate through snail mail, simply because it's safer. When donating, please include a note (write clearly, or type it on your computer and print it out) with the following information: • Your e-mail address, in case we need to contact you • Your game username • Your character name • What items/services you'd like Your items will be given to you after your mail is received. For Western Union donations, be sure to give your full name and the MTCN! Credit card donations: http://hax-studios.net - Click the "Make a donation" button and follow the instructions for credit card payment. Rewards for donating: • Wings, tails and other God items are exclusive. Thus, they can not be distributed to other players. • Wings are bottom headgears that give 1 DEF and +5 to all stats. • Tails are slotted head gears which give +1 to all stats, stacks with wings, and has the appearance of a tail.   Available Items: $3 (or two for $5): • Fairy Wings • Dark Fairy Wings • Red Fairy Wings • Blue Fairy Wings • Green Fairy Wings • Butterfly Lily Wings • Arch-Angel Wings • Arch-Demon Wings • Fire Wings • Gargoyle Wings $5: • +1 upgrade to any refinable gear (100% success chance). This basically means if you already have a +7 weapon or whatever and you wanted to safely refine it to +10, that'd cost $15 since it'd be $5 * 3 + 7 = +10 weapon. • Celebration Ring (+1 All Stats) • All headgears and regular items (meaning non-godlike) $10: • Slotted Sunglasses • Non-mvp Cards • Valk and other God armor sets($10 per item!) $15: • Lord Kaho Horn (Slotted head gear, +1 to all stats, +5 Def, +5 M.DEF) • Sleipnir (Footgear HP +10%, SP +10%, SP Recovery +10%, Speed +20%, +5 DEF, +5 M.DEF) • Megingjard (Accessory, +10 STR, +2 DEF, +5 M.DEF) • Mjolnir (Mace, +10 STR, +10 DEX, 200 ATK, +20 ASPD) $20: • MVP Cards • Fox Tail (Slotted head gear, +1 to all stats, stacks with wings, one per account.) • Past annual event items. These are usually free items from events however they are only available annually and if you miss the event you're usually out of luck, until now! Items include but are not limited to Ring of Excellence, Pumpkin Hat, Halloween Costume Belt, Charm Wand, and more. Unique items limit 1 per account. Coming Soon: New headgears and pets with skills and stats. Pictures of many of the items. More tails. Once you have donated... it is your responsibility to contact a game master for your donation rewards. They will then check a list and see if your claims are valid by checking your paypal e-mail address. After that, just tell them what you'd like. If you donate via snail mail it will be added to the list when fritz recieve's it. If you donated via western union, contact fritz. It was suggested, but we need someone to script/program it. It's already in eathena. all it requires is a GM to add names and ammounts of those that donated to it. and it does the rest. We just need someone to implement it (the donation NPC), and same for the Ninja class.

There is however potentila for abuse. SO I sugggest making sure it is and remains a level 99 GM script at all times. AKA only gms will be able to use the administration part of it where it allows you to add donator names and their ammounts and what not.

Just a heads up, we're going to be doing a donation drive soon.. I hope to be able to buy at least two more servers and keep the current junk we have and run the webserver and patch server off of it, then I wanna have a dedicated server for the database & char-servers, and then the third to host the map-servers... with a setup like this we'll be able to expand so much more, and possible run two servers
 at least that's t he full intent, because three machines for one RO server would be overkill but then again we can always do things like reselling hosting and what not on these machines which would create a steady form of income besides donations. The total cost of liek 3 machines (since I have connections at SagoNet) would be like $365/month (that's two servers a lot better than the current and then keeping our current for webserver and etc) and I think the two new ones would be on 100mbit but if not that's an additional $99/month.I think we can easily make this money with a good donation drive as long as we keep players coming in and keep the community active. We're currently working on new donation rewards, possibly donating for zeny, stat points, skill points, new wings, tails, pets and even more so spread the word! Regards, fritz |

We have major plans in development, but in order to do so, we need to attract more people and have them donate more. We have a feeling that many of you, if not all, will be pleased when we finalize things.

Well, hopefully it won't take very long then. I know it may seem very drastic, and somewhat insane, but like I said, we just have to finalize things. And Zak said we'll POSSIBLY do some of those, he never said it was for sure. All I can say is please have faith in the administration, you have nothing to worry about. The current and future state of Devilish is constantly on our minds. (You have no idea.)

While donations are good., you should think of other ways then 100% ingame stuff as gifts.
Like pay to use forum sections which Have premium stuff like pr0n in it. An arcade area that is only avaliable to premium subscribers ( via the subscription page in the user cp ) Now on vB that is all possible.. but IPB not sure if you can restrict the arcade hack like that. It's isnt just devilish. 99% of the entire ro community right now are all anti donation for items expecially overpowering ones. |

o think we should remove the mvp section for the cards. i mean it kinda defeats the whole purpose of mvping or hunting for mvp cards if its easily obtained with only paying 10$ to get a doppel.
also it would be nice if we get gifts in our bday or sumthing. not too godly but like a common card or anything not too good so people wont abuse it ^____^. and i also think we should have gms in different time zone. for example in the mroning and afternoon here in canada i cnt seems to find any gms. at like 9pm here thats when i start seeing gms XD. i know prinny is always online but he is sumtimes afk and cannot help 90+ players all in 1 sitting |

Now that summer is over I'm just now starting to get back in here and work on the server from the administrative side of things, I'm still contemplating if I will work heavily in player relations again like I did a year or so ago... it's really stressful and for that I give kudos to Prinny and Odin for doing it, but then again we don't exactly have the population any more that I had to deal with back then hehe. Can we donate for GM levels as well? Like, ten dollars for every GM level. Sorry, the "Suggestions" section seems to be screaming "LESS THINGS THAT CAN BE DONATED FOR" .. not the opposite. |
