To apply for the position of a moderator, you must be at least 13 years old. There are no exceptions. Reply posts should only be to apply for a position. Any other posts may be subject to deletion without warning.

All moderators should have a solid grasp of the English language and make an effort to show this in every post they make. Note that we are looking for maturity and quality in a moderator. It is understood that some people may have English as their second language but may still qualify. It's okay to make some grammatical mistakes here and there, as long as it's not on purpose. This means, moderators are expected to not type in LOL, 1337, plz, ebonics, etc.

Moderators are expected to be active and continue to contribute to the moderation team. If a moderator must take leave, he/she should post ahead of time in the Moderator Chat section. In addition, a moderator is not considered active because he/she makes a lot of posts. Moderators should be fighting spam rather than contributing to it.

All moderators must listen to admins and follow the rules. In addition, the moderation team is headed by super moderators. Super moderators are accountable for the actions of moderators, so it is their job to teach new moderators and keep them in line.

The moderating staff is a separate division from the GM team and are not under the powers of the GM team. The GM team may still deal with moderators for game related issues (if the subjected moderator is also a player) while the moderation team may deal with GMs who violate the forum rules (the action of a moderator always overrule that of the GM on the forums, including forum sections that are led by the GM team). It is strongly advised by the administration team for both teams to treat each other as equals and cooperate whenever possible. Abuse on either side will be frowned upon.

A moderator should be firm and should not ignore signs of forum degradation. Move topics to the appropriate section. Delete inappropriate topics. Warn users if necessary. Remind members to stay on topic. Prevent and stop flaming. Close topics if necessary. A moderator is more than allowed to socialize and make friends, but should not be discriminant when dealing with moderation. Members should also be understanding when a moderator does his/her job, friend or not. One of the key rules in Devilish is respect.

To apply for a position as a moderator, please state your name, age, gender, time zone, e-mail, IRC name, and game character names (if any), and forum moderator experience, if any (provide links if possible). You can send any of these information privately if you wish. I can be found on IRC.

I strongly recommend all members that apply to visit our IRC channel, register on the IRC server, and idle while the application is under review. This will speed things up. Otherwise, having MSN is fine.

1) My name is Kiwi, I'm hyper, I like bunnies. I go to high school and do fun things and I draw and stuff. Yeahh. =]
2) In my opinion, these forums had a lack of active moderators. The ones we did have were often biased, and did not get along with the general public very much.. it's weird to see a forum moderator get into fights/flame wars with people. I mean, you expect a moderator to keep things chill, not start with others. So yeah, these forums were in desperate need of this app. >_>
3) I can contribute because I have a good sense of right/wrong haha.. even though it might not seem that way. ;P I'm active, so I can be on these forums most of the time.. I have finals in a bit, but that's for just a few days then I'm completely free.

1) Well, I'm very good to players and have very reduced flaming levels. I'm rather assertive when people threaten me. I'd rather be on both sides of the argument pointing out PROs and CONs while deleting flame posts. I'm very obsessive about cleanliness. Especially when people are like "U SUK I HAT U 4EVER" I'd delete that in two seconds. And there are lots of topics that are idiotic and need to be moved to their correct forums. I've been around a bit.
2) I wish to be a Moderator because it's time we stop these "Flaming Situations" and it needs to be controlled. The insanity is just way too high for this forums to be like this. It's utter nonsense.
3) I can give great suggestions and solutions to problems. I'm more of a problem solver than a fighter. I don't like to fight. It's just a waste of time.
