Okies...when I entered Devilish not long ago Fritz showed up all of a sudden and made a few announcements. He asked me to post it here, since he is very very tired and close to collapse, as it seems. Anyways, I'll try to post everything I can remember. Sorry if I'll forget anything.
1. Today or tomorrow we finally have the wipe. That means, all accounts / items will be deleted 2. The rates will be lowered so we get back a rather normal economy 3. Ways to prevent people from hacking and duping will be found, and implemented 4. A level 99 cap might be implemented, but we haven't decided on that yet 5. Probably a new patch will be released, as well as an auto-patcher so things would get less messy for everyone 6. The coin NPC Maruchan was talking about will be implemented (see here). That means you can win coins through events, and trade them in for some nifty items or such 7. An NPC for changing you into Super Novice will be implemented as well. The requirement for being one will be job level 40 as 2nd job class (with lowered rates this should be fair). You can't be reborn as Super Novice (meaning no advanced 2nd job classes for you). 8. Currently we have over 14.000 registered accounts and over 70.000 characters in our database while 95% of them are not used at all (that is one of the main reasons why we have so much lag and disconnections all the time). We are going to delete inactive accounts in the future to prevent that (probably after 3 months of inactiveness)...so please don't make accounts you're not going to use anyway 9. General stability of the server will be increased lots after the wipe...you may expect having no lag and no disconnections anymore once it is done 10. So far the new GM team consists of Royalty, myself and Tsunade if she is going to return...but don't quote me on the latter one...it is only an idea / wish. We will have more GMs in the future and you may apply anytime...see Ally's thread for more information on this. But only do that if it's reasonable, and I demand that everyone, GMs as well as players, respect the rules...read them if necessary 11. We might remove the MvP arena in order to implement mob skills. Please check the vote I made not long ago and decide on what we should do 12. We encourage everyone to be more active here on the forums, and in IRC (irc.deltaanime.net #devilish). The community is about to die and we would like you to change that...this server and community has such a great potential...please don't let it die out....PWEASE~!!! 13. Soon we might have some kind of huge christmas event or anything like that. I don't know any details so just wait and let yourself surprise 14. Oh yea, and the godlike Pupa thing will be changed back to normal Umm...did I forget anything? If so then feel free to add what I forgot about, Fritz. All this is awakeing my interest again for playing on this server...and I hope it is the same for you players. We all need to work together to make this server wonderful again. Be nice, be fair, be respectful...and most importantly...have a lot of fun in the future. This might be a new start for Devilish, so let's all work on it so it will be a bright future for everyone of us. |

Actually... until Fors, Ally, and I talk over revamping the GMs, that whole GM application is off until otherwise stated.... so starting now, all Emails in that mailbox will be ignored. We have who we feel would be potentially good GMs, We need to talk over which GMs does what, I strongly encourage all Gms to contact me with their area of expertise so that I can set up a system (ok fine: division of labor) amongst ourselves.

The new GM team will consist of a course Me, Ally, Fors and like I said Sakura, Royalty and Tsunade if she decides to come back

I don't understand the Super Novice part... at all. Why don't you just use the original requirement? Which means novice @ base level 45... that would be fair, super novies are very powerfull, and they are the only class that gets to job level 99, a hard time on turning into one would be nothing more then right. And the quest for super novie should be no problem as well since this just consists out of lame item collecting (like most of the jobs), and in case of a super novice you could easily get someone to hunt them for you or you could just slay some poporings and you're set... (most req. items are from weak monsters...)

 Woot finally Devilish is going through changes i must agree with Ray wen he said to Remove the job changer npc for the 1st and 2nd job in that MVP arena topic. I mean those quest arent that hard to do O_o... and itll make ppl explore the map a bit more... and yea super novice should b at lvl 45 and no u cant get 99 job lvl with a super novice, thatll make them to powerfull  i think the max job lvl is 70 o.oAs for the MVP arena.... IMO it should b removed cuz 1....they r to easy , 2...put back the mvp mob e.e they are just to easy w/o their mobs XD and 3.....MVP should take around one hour to spawn back... not 2 seconds e.e and itll also make the drops worth a lot more then the 10z they r worth now e.eo and fritz....wut happened to u in L2 XD? Super novice can go to job 99. That got implented in kRO not a very long time ago... you should read more updates info

On here if you make a super novice it goes to 50. But if you have GM powers it goes up to 70, I believe.. I dunno, I've never tried getting it to 99.
