1. First of all find a decent picture to work with, preferably it should have a white background.
(IMG:http://www.hightechtoys.net/htmlPix/news%20pictures/donkey%20kong.JPG) 2. Duplicate this Layer. 3. Go back to the first layer and change the HUE/SATURATION to H=54 and S=97 and make sure you check colorize. 4. Now, go to the duplicated layer and use the magic wand tool on the white background, and delete 5. Next, change your two colours. Use these HTML codes. First colour = C7B305 Second colour = 030303 6. Filter>Sketch>Charcoal and use these settings Charcoal Thickness = 5 Detail= 5 Light/Dark Balance=5 7. Change the Opacity of this layer to about 75% and change the Blend Mode to Lighten. Merge the Layers or fiddle around with the blending options to get your desired effect. And Bam, you have a Golden Picture (IMG:http://img54.photobucket.com/albums/v165/neo_tetsuo/donkey_gold.jpg) |
